• The contract templates have some blanks that you need to fill in and a few sections where you pick between different options. Depending on how far along you are in terms of thinking about your business process and procedure, it should not take you longer than 30 minutes to complete.

• The templates vary in length depending on the industry and specific agreement. To make sure that your contract contains all of the essential legal provisions for your particular industry, most of the templates are at most 6 pages in length. Note that this might be shorter after you’ve customized the template to suit your business.

Q. Can I use these even if I don’t live in your state?

• These contract templates are drafted on general US-based common law contract principles and are easily editable and adaptable to many states. Due to variations in law based on location, the contract policies may be implemented for your business.

Q. Can I use these even if I live outside of the U.S.?

• If you are a creative entrepreneur located outside the US, the policies may be implemented for your business. However, U.S. Federal Copyright laws and other legal theories may not apply. Instead of drafting your contract from scratch, the contract templates provide an excellent foundation for a local attorney in your country to amend the provisions to any specific laws of your country.
