These were the words that my former boss echoed after I told him that I was resigning from the firm because I was not passionate about the work. For months, I had felt as if I was being called toward a more creative path, but I wasn’t sure what that path was. I had been blogging for a number of years and frequently dreamed about combining my love of writing, travel, and photography with the practice of law. I knew that my creative side had to be at the forefront of my life and embedded in my career. I soon realized that I could use my law degree to help other creatives protect their passions and businesses through the area of Intellectual Property Law.
Zara Watson Law was then born with the mission of empowering and equipping creative entrepreneurs with the legal tools that they need to protect and run their businesses. As an entrepreneur myself, I understand firsthand the challenges associated with starting and running a business. I also understand the challenges associated with protecting your intellectual property in today’s technologically advanced global economy. My goal is to make the trademark registration process straightforward, simple, and fun so that you can focus on what matters the most – running your business.
